The Journal is intended for legal scholars, practitioners, government officials, and graduate and post-graduate law students. <p><strong><em>SUBMISSION</em></strong><strong><em><br></em></strong><em>HUJL has now transitioned from the previous e-mail submission format to an online submission system. Hence, HUJL is </em><em>inviting all interested contributors to submit their scholarly work at the new Hawassa </em><em>University Journal of Law website (</em><em>https://journals.hu.edu.et/hu-journals/index.php/hujl</em><em>). The new website link can also be used to access previous volumes<br>and download individual contributions.<br></em><em>In order to make the online submission, authors need to first </em><em>register </em><em>with<br>the journal. <p><strong>Hawassa University Journal <em>of </em>Law </strong><strong>(HUJL) </strong></p> <p><strong>CALL FOR PAPERS </strong><strong>2023 A Special Issue (Vol. VII) Launched in Collaboration with the ILO </strong></p> <p><strong>INVITATION TO AUTHORS </strong></p> <p>Hawassa University Journal of Law (HUJL) is an endeavor of the School of Law of Hawassa University to create a platform where the voice of dynamics of law resonates clearly and the academia, researchers, lawmakers, judges, policy-makers and practitioners publish their research findings and reach out readers at large. The journal publishes scholarly works on law-related issues, policies, theories and problems relevant to Ethiopia within the local, national, regional and international settings in the form of peer-reviewed articles, notes/reflections, book reviews and comments.</p> <p>Since August 2021, our school has been working with the ILO for: the improvement of access to justice via our legal aid center; betterment of work related rights; ensuring gender equality and dissemination of knowledge on labour laws, objectives and principles of the ILO.
