East African Journal of Biophysical and Computational Sciences

East African Journal of Biophysical and Computational Sciences (EAJBCS), whose ISSN (Online): 2789-3618 and ISSN (Print): 2789-360X, is a double-blind peer-reviewed open-access journal published by Hawassa University, College of Natural and Computational Sciences. The Journal is a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary platform dedicated to publishing high-quality, original, and impactful research that advances knowledge in the natural sciences. The Journal welcomes submissions from researchers worldwide and provides a platform for disseminating innovative scientific discoveries, methodological developments, and practical applications that contribute to scientific advancement.

The journal publishes research across a broad range of disciplines, including biology, chemistry, physics, geology, and veterinary medicine. It also welcomes manuscripts originating from related disciplines such as biotechnology, mathematics, sport science, statistics, and other allied sciences whose research aligns with the journal's aims and scope. EAJBCS publishes original research articles, review articles, mini-reviews, and short communications in English on a biannual basis. In addition, special issues may be published and will undergo the same rigorous double-blind peer-review process and editorial standards as regular submissions. The journal follows a fully open-access publishing model under the Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license. It does not charge article processing charges or publication fees, thereby promoting equitable opportunities for researchers worldwide. 

The journal is indexed in reputable databases, including AJOL, DOAJ, CABI Abstracts, and FAO AGRIS, and it is also nationally accredited with a Grade B ranking.
